Cin7 B2B ecommerce integration

Give your trade customers a modern B2B storefront that runs on Cin7 Core or Cin7 Omni. Products, stock by location, price tiers and customers come from Cin7, and orders go back as sales ready to pick, pack and ship. We connect to each product through its own API, because Core and Omni work differently.

What syncs between Cin7 and TierCommerce

Cin7 stays your source of truth. Cin7 Core and Cin7 Omni name some records differently, so both names are shown where they differ.

From Cin7 into TierCommerce

  • Products

Core products and product families, or Omni products and options, with units of measure and images

  • Stock by location

Available stock per Core location or Omni branch

  • Price tiers

Each customer’s price tier, plus Core custom prices and Omni special price tiers

  • Customers

Core customers or Omni contacts, with their price tier and addresses

  • Order status

Picking, packing and shipping progress, shown in each customer’s order history

From TierCommerce back to Cin7

  • Sales orders

Core sales at the order stage, or Omni sales orders, with PO number, delivery address and notes

  • Quotes

Quotes created in TierCommerce, sent as Core sale quotes or Omni quotes

  • Customers

New trade account applications, once approved, as Core customers or Omni contacts

  • Payments

Online card payments recorded against the sale in Cin7 Core

One Cin7 integration, built for both Core and Omni

We build and maintain the Cin7 connection ourselves. It uses the right Cin7 API for each job, so it stays fast as your order volume grows.

  • Cin7 Core API v2

Products, availability, customers and sales, authenticated with your Account ID and a dedicated API Application Key.

  • Cin7 Core webhooks

Sale events, such as an authorised order or shipment, reach TierCommerce within moments. They need Core’s Automation module.

  • Cin7 Omni API

Products, stock, contacts and sales orders, using your API username and a separate key for this connection.

  • Rate-limit aware

Requests are queued and batched to stay inside Cin7’s API limits, and back off and retry when Cin7 throttles.

What it supports in Cin7

  • Cin7 Core (formerly DEAR) and Cin7 Omni
  • Price tiers in both, with up to 10 per product in Core
  • Multiple Core locations and Omni branches
  • AUD and NZD, with GST applied per customer
  • Product variants and units of measure
  • Your existing pick, pack and ship process in Cin7

Cin7 runs the warehouse. TierCommerce runs the trade storefront.

  • Cin7 stays the source of truth

Products, stock, price tiers and customers are owned by Cin7. TierCommerce never overwrites what it shouldn’t.

  • Stock you can trust

Availability syncs per location, not as one blended number, so customers only order what you can ship.

  • Pricing beyond the tier

Cin7 price tiers carry over as they are. TierCommerce adds contract prices, quantity breaks and customer-specific catalogues on top.

  • No duplicate sales

Every write is idempotent, so a retried order can never create a second sale in Cin7.

  • Logged and replayable

Every sync is logged against the Cin7 record it touched. Failures alert your team and can be replayed in one click.

Live on Cin7 in 30 days

A fixed onboarding programme run by our implementation partner, not an open-ended project.

  1. 1 Week 1

    Discovery and scoping

We confirm whether you run Cin7 Core or Cin7 Omni, then review your price tiers, locations and how orders are fulfilled today.

  2. 2 Week 2

    Mapping and configuration

Products, customers and price tiers are mapped, and a dedicated API connection is created in your Cin7 account.

  3. 3 Week 3

    Test with real orders

Orders and quotes run end to end into Cin7, checked by your warehouse and accounts teams.

  4. 4 Week 4

    Go live and hypercare

We switch on your storefront, invite your first customers and watch every sync closely for the first weeks.

Secure and reliable by design

Your Cin7 data is your business. The integration only touches what it needs, and every action is recorded.

  • Encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest
  • A dedicated Cin7 API connection, revocable at any time
  • Customer data hosted in Sydney
  • Role-based access for your staff and your customers
  • An audit log of every change and sync
  • Card payments tokenised by a PCI-compliant provider

Cin7 integration questions

Can TierCommerce integrate with Cin7 for B2B ecommerce?

Yes. Cin7 is one of our native integrations, for both Cin7 Core and Cin7 Omni. Products, stock, price tiers and customers sync from Cin7, and sales orders, quotes and new customers sync back.

Does it work with Cin7 Core and Cin7 Omni?

Yes, but they are different products with different APIs. Cin7 Core (formerly DEAR) uses the Core API v2, and Cin7 Omni uses its own API with separate credentials. We confirm which one you run first, then connect to the right one.

Cin7 has its own B2B portal. Why use TierCommerce?

Cin7’s B2B portal is an add-on for both Core and Omni, and it handles tier pricing, live stock and simple reordering well. TierCommerce is the step up when you need contract pricing beyond tiers, buyer roles and spend approvals, AI entry of emailed purchase orders, PunchOut to procurement systems and full control over design.

Can trade customers see their own Cin7 price tier?

Yes. Each customer sees the price tier set on their Cin7 Core customer or Cin7 Omni contact record, everywhere they shop. Core custom prices and Omni special price tiers are respected too.

Does it handle stock across multiple warehouses?

Yes. Stock syncs per Cin7 Core location or Cin7 Omni branch. You decide which locations feed each storefront, and each order is sent with the location it should ship from.

How do you handle Cin7 API limits?

Requests are queued, batched and spread out to stay inside Cin7’s limits, and the integration backs off and retries when Cin7 throttles. On Cin7 Core, it uses webhooks where your account has the Automation module, so changes arrive without constant polling.

Does it handle GST, AUD and NZD?

Yes. GST is applied per customer from your Cin7 tax settings, and AU and NZ storefronts can each run in their own currency. Customer data is hosted in Sydney.

How long does it take to go live?

Most businesses can be taking orders in about 30 days. Large catalogues or heavily customised Cin7 accounts can take longer, and we’ll tell you up front.
