Klaviyo B2B ecommerce integration
Market to trade buyers based on what they actually order. Customers sync to Klaviyo as profiles, orders and quotes as events, and your products as the Klaviyo catalog. Reorder reminders, quote follow-ups and abandoned carts run on real B2B data.
What syncs between Klaviyo and TierCommerce
TierCommerce sends Klaviyo the people, products and buying events your flows need. Klaviyo sends back consent changes, so nobody gets marketing they opted out of.

Email consent

SMS consent
SMS opt-ins and opt-outs, so text messages only go to people who agreed

A native Klaviyo integration, built on server-side events
We build and maintain the Klaviyo connection ourselves. It uses the right Klaviyo API for each job, so it stays fast as your order volume grows.
-
Klaviyo REST API
Events, profiles and catalog items written through Klaviyo’s current API.
-
Server-side events
Orders, quotes and invoices are sent from our servers, so ad blockers and browser settings can’t drop them.
-
Scoped API key
A private key with only the scopes it needs, such as events and catalogs. Revoke it in Klaviyo at any time.
-
Rate-limit aware
Requests are queued and batched to stay inside Klaviyo’s burst and steady rate limits.
What it supports in Klaviyo
- Klaviyo lists, segments and flows
- Email and SMS consent, kept in step both ways
- Custom profile properties and custom events
- Catalog prices in AUD or NZD, with GST shown the way you choose
- Separate Klaviyo accounts for Australian and New Zealand storefronts
- A backfill of past orders and customers when you first connect
Klaviyo flows that understand trade buyers
-
B2B flows, not just retail ones
Reorder reminders, quote follow-ups, account welcomes and abandoned carts for trade buyers, each triggered by a real TierCommerce event.
-
Buyers linked to their account
Every profile carries its trade account, so you can segment by account, customer group, region or sales rep.
-
Contract prices stay private
The Klaviyo catalog holds your public prices only. A buyer’s contract price never lands in a shared feed or a profile property.
-
Consent you can show
Opt-ins are recorded with a source and time, and unsubscribes flow back, to help you meet the Spam Act and the Australian Privacy Principles.
-
Logged and replayable
Every event is logged against the order or customer it came from. Failures alert your team and can be replayed in one click.
Live on Klaviyo in your first week
Connect Klaviyo once, and your trade customers, orders and quotes start flowing in straight away.
-
1 Day 1
Connect Klaviyo
You create a scoped private API key in Klaviyo and add it in TierCommerce. We confirm events and profiles arrive.
-
2 Day 2
Backfill history
Past orders, customers and your catalog are sent to Klaviyo, so segments like lapsed accounts work straight away.
-
3 Days 3 to 4
Build your flows
We help you set up reorder reminders, quote follow-ups and trade abandoned carts on top of the new events.
-
4 Day 5
Check and switch on
Test buyers run through each flow end to end, then the flows go live for your real customers.
Secure and reliable by design
Your Klaviyo data is your business. The integration only touches what it needs, and every action is recorded.
- Encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest
- A scoped private API key, revocable from Klaviyo
- TierCommerce data hosted in Sydney
- Contract and customer pricing never sent to Klaviyo
- Consent recorded for every subscriber
- An audit log of every sync
Klaviyo integration questions
Can TierCommerce integrate with Klaviyo for B2B ecommerce?
Yes. Klaviyo is a native TierCommerce integration. Buyers sync as profiles, orders and quotes as events, and your products as the Klaviyo catalog, so flows and segments run on real trade data.
Which events does TierCommerce send to Klaviyo?
Placed Order and Ordered Product for every order, plus Viewed Product, Added to Cart and Started Checkout for logged-in buyers. B2B events such as Quote Requested, Quote Sent, Account Approved and Invoice Overdue can trigger flows too.
Can we send reorder reminders to trade customers?
Yes. Each Ordered Product event carries the SKU and quantity, so a flow can wait a set number of days after a buyer last ordered a product and remind them. The email links straight back to their account.
Will contract prices show up in Klaviyo?
No. The catalog holds your public prices only. Contract and customer-group prices stay in TierCommerce, and buyers see them when they log in.
How is email and SMS consent handled?
Opt-ins from checkout and account sign-up are sent to Klaviyo with their source, and unsubscribes in Klaviyo flow back to TierCommerce. Marketing only goes to people who agreed to it, as the Spam Act requires.
Does it replace the Klaviyo script on our storefront?
No, it works alongside it. Klaviyo’s onsite script can still run your sign-up forms, while the events that matter, such as orders and quotes, are sent from our servers.
Do we need a separate Klaviyo account for New Zealand?
Not necessarily. You can use one Klaviyo account and segment by storefront, or connect a separate account per storefront if your AU and NZ teams market separately.
What about orders placed before we connected?
When you connect, we backfill past orders and customers into Klaviyo. Segments such as top accounts or buyers who haven’t ordered in 90 days work from the first day.
