Xero B2B ecommerce integration
Run a trade storefront on top of Xero. Items, stock and customers come from Xero, orders arrive in Xero as invoices, and payments are applied against the right invoice. Your books stay right without anyone re-keying an order.

A native Xero integration, built for how wholesalers use Xero
We build and maintain the Xero connection ourselves. It uses the right Xero API for each job, so it stays fast as your order volume grows.
-
Xero Accounting API
Invoices, payments, quotes, contacts and items, read and written directly.
-
OAuth 2.0
You approve the connection inside Xero, and can disconnect it at any time.
-
Webhooks
Changes to contacts and invoices in Xero reach TierCommerce within moments.
-
Rate-limit aware
Requests are queued and batched to stay inside Xero’s per-minute and daily API limits.
What it supports in Xero
- Separate Australian and New Zealand Xero organisations
- GST and your Xero tax rates, inclusive or exclusive per customer
- Contact groups, used as customer pricing groups
- Tracked inventory items
- Tracking categories, so online orders report by channel or branch
- Your Xero invoice branding themes
Customer pricing Xero doesn’t have, books Xero can trust
-
Contract and tier pricing on top of Xero
Xero holds one sales price per item. TierCommerce adds contract, group and quantity pricing, keyed to your Xero contact groups.
-
Xero stays your books
Invoices, payments and GST land in Xero exactly as your bookkeeper expects, with the right accounts and tax codes.
-
Inside Xero’s API limits
Queued and batched so a busy morning of orders never hits Xero’s rate limits.
-
No duplicate invoices
Every write is idempotent, so a retried order can never create a second invoice or payment.
-
Logged and replayable
Every sync is logged against the Xero record it touched. Failures alert your team and can be replayed in one click.
Live on Xero in 30 days
A fixed onboarding programme run by our implementation partner, not an open-ended project.
-
1 Week 1
Connect Xero
You approve the connection, and we bring in your items, contacts, contact groups and tax rates.
-
2 Week 2
Set up pricing
Contract prices, customer groups and quantity tiers are set up on top of your Xero items.
-
3 Week 3
Test with real orders
Orders, payments and quotes run end to end, checked by your bookkeeper in Xero.
-
4 Week 4
Go live and hypercare
We switch on your storefront, invite your first customers and watch every sync closely.
Secure and reliable by design
Your Xero data is your business. The integration only touches what it needs, and every action is recorded.
- Encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest
- OAuth 2.0, approved and revocable from Xero
- Customer data hosted in Sydney
- Role-based access for your staff and your customers
- An audit log of every change and sync
- Card payments tokenised by a PCI-compliant provider
Xero integration questions
Can TierCommerce integrate with Xero for B2B ecommerce?
Yes. Xero is one of our native integrations. Items, stock, contacts and invoices come from Xero, and orders, payments, quotes and new customers go back to Xero automatically.
Xero has no customer price levels. How does customer pricing work?
TierCommerce adds it. Contract prices, customer-group price lists and quantity tiers are managed in TierCommerce and keyed to your Xero contacts and contact groups, so each trade customer sees their own price.
Do orders go into Xero as invoices?
Yes. Xero has no sales orders, so each order is created as a draft or approved invoice, your choice, with the customer’s PO number, line items and tracking categories. Quotes are created as Xero quotes.
Does it handle GST and separate Australian and New Zealand Xero organisations?
Yes. Tax rates come from Xero and are applied per customer, and an AU and an NZ organisation can each run their own storefront and currency.
Can customers pay their Xero invoices online?
Yes. Customers see their open Xero invoices and statements in TierCommerce and pay online. Each payment is applied to the right invoice in Xero.
Does it work with Xero’s tracked inventory?
Yes. Quantity on hand comes from your tracked inventory items. If you need multiple warehouses or batch tracking, TierCommerce also connects to Cin7, Unleashed and Katana.
Do we need a developer or bookkeeper to set it up?
No developer is needed. We set up the integration with you, and your bookkeeper checks test invoices in Xero before you go live.
What happens when we outgrow Xero?
Your storefront, customers and pricing stay in TierCommerce. Moving to NetSuite, MYOB Acumatica or Business Central means switching the integration, not rebuilding your store.
