Meta Ads B2B ecommerce integration

Track sales accurately and run catalogue ads from your TierCommerce store. The Meta Pixel and the Conversions API send the same events, deduplicated so each sale counts once, and your products stay in sync with your Meta catalogue. Trade pricing never leaves your store.

What syncs between Meta Ads and TierCommerce

TierCommerce sends Meta the events your campaigns optimise on and the public product catalogue your ads show. Meta sends back the signals that help match events and fix catalogue problems.

From Meta into TierCommerce

  • Click IDs

The fbclid from ad clicks, kept as the fbc value so later server events can be matched

  • Browser IDs

The Meta Pixel’s fbp cookie, captured with consent and sent with each server event

  • Catalogue diagnostics

Items Meta has rejected or flagged, with the reason, shown against the product

From TierCommerce to Meta

  • Pixel events

ViewContent, AddToCart, InitiateCheckout and Purchase from the browser

  • Conversions API events

The same events from our servers, sharing an event ID with the Pixel so Meta keeps one

  • Customer information

Email and phone, normalised and SHA-256 hashed before they leave TierCommerce

  • Lead events

Trade account applications and quote requests, so you can optimise for B2B demand

  • Catalogue items

Products and variants with title, image, link, availability and public GST-inclusive price

A native Meta Ads integration, with browser and server tracking

We build and maintain the Meta Ads connection ourselves. It uses the right Meta Ads API for each job, so it stays fast as your order volume grows.

  • Meta Pixel

Browser events for retargeting and attribution, loaded only after a visitor consents.

  • Conversions API

Server events with hashed customer information, deduplicated against the Pixel by event name and event ID.

  • Catalog Batch API

Catalogue items created, updated and removed in batches as products, stock and prices change.

  • Business account access

You connect your Meta business account and pick the Pixel and catalogue. Remove access from your Meta business settings at any time.

What it supports in Meta Ads

  • Standard events: ViewContent, AddToCart, InitiateCheckout, Purchase and Lead
  • Advantage+ catalog ads from your TierCommerce products
  • GST-inclusive prices in AUD or NZD
  • Separate catalogues for Australian and New Zealand storefronts
  • Product sets built from categories, brands or tags
  • Your cookie consent settings, respected on every event

Meta Ads that respect trade-account privacy

  • Public prices only

The catalogue carries your retail or list price. Contract prices and customer-group pricing never leave TierCommerce.

  • Consent comes first

The Pixel loads only when a visitor accepts marketing cookies, and server events follow the same choice.

  • Hashed before it leaves

Emails and phone numbers are normalised and SHA-256 hashed on our servers. Meta never receives them in plain text.

  • Each sale counted once

Browser and server events share an event ID, usually the order number, so Meta deduplicates them.

  • Made for wholesalers who also sell direct

You choose whether logged-in trade buyers are tracked at all, so retail retargeting stays retail.

Meta Ads integration questions

Can TierCommerce integrate with Meta Ads for B2B ecommerce?

Yes. Meta Ads is a native TierCommerce integration. It adds the Meta Pixel, sends the same events through the Conversions API, and keeps your Meta catalogue in sync for Advantage+ catalog ads.

Why use the Conversions API as well as the Pixel?

Browsers drop some Pixel events, through ad blockers, privacy settings or a closed tab. Sending each event from our servers as well gives Meta a fuller picture, and deduplication stops it counting a sale twice.

How does deduplication work?

Each browser event and its server copy share the same event name and event ID, such as the order number for a Purchase. Meta keeps one and discards the other.

Will trade customers’ contract prices appear in our ads?

No. The catalogue uses the public price you choose, usually your GST-inclusive retail price. Contract and customer-group prices stay inside TierCommerce.

What customer data is sent to Meta?

Only what helps match an event to a Meta account: hashed email and phone, the IP address and browser, and Meta’s own click and browser IDs. Nothing is sent for visitors who decline marketing cookies.

Does it help us meet the Australian Privacy Principles?

It is built to. Data is kept to a minimum, hashed before it leaves, and only sent with consent. Your privacy policy should say you use Meta for advertising, and your own adviser should confirm your obligations.

Can we run separate campaigns for Australia and New Zealand?

Yes. Each storefront can have its own catalogue with prices in AUD or NZD, and every event carries the currency of the order.

Do we need a developer or Google Tag Manager?

No. You connect Meta from your TierCommerce settings and pick your Pixel and catalogue. No code or tag manager setup is needed.
