Key takeaways

  • Choose by ERP first. How a platform connects to MYOB, Xero, Pronto Xi or Options decides more about your project than any feature list.
  • Global platforms reach Australian ERPs through apps. In our audit of 62 app listings, no app on Shopify or BigCommerce connects to Options ERP, and the only Shopify apps that list customer pricing from MYOB are US$345-a-month tiers for MYOB Exo and Acumatica.
  • On Shopify and BigCommerce, the apps a wholesaler adds cost from about US$70 to US$1,175 a month on top of the platform fee, billed in US dollars.
  • Five of the 14 platforms publish their pricing in full. Five are quote only, so ask every vendor for a three-year cost including apps and implementation.
  • Specialists win their niche: Ordermentum for food and beverage, the Unleashed and Cin7 stores for their own inventory users, SuiteCommerce for NetSuite and Sana for SAP and Microsoft Dynamics.

Most “best B2B ecommerce platform” lists are written by a platform vendor, priced in US dollars and aimed at US businesses. Of the ones ranking in search today, we couldn’t find one that mentions MYOB, Pronto Xi or GST. This guide is written for Australian and New Zealand wholesalers and distributors, and it’s built on data rather than opinion.

The short answer: the best platform for your situation

How the scoring works

Your ERP: native or built in 40, listed 30, app or connector 20, partner 10, check with vendor 5, not listed 0; unsupported platforms are left out. Size: 15 if it suits you, -15 if not. Food and beverage specialists get 25 for food and beverage suppliers and -40 for everyone else. Each must-have: built in 6, higher plan 4, app 2, not published 0, missing -12. Ties are sorted alphabetically.

How we compared them

We picked platforms that Australian and New Zealand wholesalers actually shortlist: the global platforms that rank for B2B ecommerce, and the local and regional tools with an Australian or New Zealand presence. We left out retail-first platforms with no real B2B features, and we don’t compare against platforms we haven’t been able to check from public information.

For each platform we recorded, from its vendor’s own pages:

  • How it connects to ten ERP and inventory systems common here: MYOB Business and AccountRight, MYOB Acumatica, MYOB Exo, Xero, Pronto Xi, Options, NetSuite, Business Central, Cin7 and Unleashed.
  • Six B2B features: customer-specific pricing, quotes, PunchOut, credit limits and payment terms, paying invoices online, and selling retail from the same store.
  • Pricing: what’s published, in what currency, and what it’s priced on.
  • Local presence: offices, hosting and support in Australia and New Zealand.

Then we audited the Shopify App Store and BigCommerce marketplace, opening 62 app listings to record what it costs to connect each platform to Australian ERPs and add the B2B features it doesn’t include. Where a vendor doesn’t publish something, we say so rather than guess. Features and prices change, so check with each vendor before you decide.

What’s different about B2B ecommerce in Australia and New Zealand

Trade buyers here want to order online as much as anywhere. In Gartner’s 2026 survey, 67% of B2B buyers said they prefer to buy without talking to a sales rep,[1] and the Australian Bureau of Statistics found 32% of Australian businesses received orders online in 2024-25.[2] But a few things make the platform choice different from the US or Europe.

  • Local ERPs. MYOB, Pronto Xi, Options, Xero, Cin7 and Unleashed run a large share of Australian and New Zealand wholesalers, and global platforms rarely build integrations for them. That’s the biggest single factor in this guide.
  • GST. GST is 10% in Australia and 15% in New Zealand.[3] [4] Trade customers usually see prices excluding GST, sole traders and retail buyers often expect them including it, and the store has to calculate GST the same way as the tax invoice your ERP raises.[5]
  • Payment terms. Accounts on terms such as 30 days end of month are normal, and buyers increasingly expect to see and pay their invoices online.
  • Currency. Most platform apps are billed in US dollars, so part of your monthly cost moves with the exchange rate.
  • Support and data. Support in Australian business hours, and customer data hosted in Australia, matter more to many wholesalers than any single feature.

Original research: what the apps really cost

General ecommerce platforms reach Australian ERPs, and fill gaps in their B2B features, through apps. To see what that costs, we opened 62 listings on the Shopify App Store and BigCommerce marketplace and recorded each app’s price, what it syncs, its rating and its review count. Then we put together the stacks an Australian wholesaler would actually need.

Original research

What the apps cost each month

Apps an Australian wholesaler adds on top of the platform fee, from our audit of 62 app listings. Pick a stack to see the apps.

A month, in US dollars, apps only. Platform fees aren’t included.

Shopify Grow or Advanced, MYOB: cheapest

  • MYOB Sync (Pro) MYOB connector · MySync US$29
  • Sami B2B Wholesale Pricing (Silver) Wholesale pricing, registration, quick order · Samita US$24.90
  • QS Request a Quote (Starter) Quotes · Quote Snap US$16.99

A month US$70.89

The connector is rated 2.6 stars and its listing doesn’t say it syncs MYOB price levels, so trade prices would be kept in two places.

Prices from each app’s listing on the Shopify App Store and BigCommerce marketplace in October 2026, billed in US dollars. Need PunchOut too? Punchout Cloud adds US$399 a month on Shopify.

What the audit found:

  1. No app connects Shopify or BigCommerce to Options ERP. We searched both marketplaces and found nothing.
  2. Customer pricing from MYOB is the hardest part. On Shopify, the AccountRight connectors we found list stock, orders and retail prices but no B2B plan.[6] The only listings that sync customer pricing from MYOB are InSyncer’s US$345-a-month B2B Sync tiers for MYOB Exo and Acumatica.[7] [8]
  3. Pronto’s own Shopify app is the most expensive connector. Pronto Xi Sync costs US$399 to US$1,999 a month plus US$999 installation, and its listing doesn’t mention customer pricing.[9]
  4. B2B sync costs more. Oracle’s own NetSuite connector for Shopify puts B2B order and customer sync on its US$916.58-a-month plan.[10]
  5. BigCommerce’s MYOB and Pronto Xi connectors don’t publish prices. They’re custom-priced with setup and annual fees,[11] so a MYOB stack on BigCommerce can’t be totalled from the listings, and there’s no Unleashed app at all.
  6. Per-customer catalogues need Shopify Plus. Basic, Grow and Advanced allow up to three B2B catalogues, so wholesalers with many price lists either move to Plus or add a pricing app.[12]
  7. Credit-limit and approval apps are young. Most have zero to two reviews, against hundreds or thousands for pricing and quote apps.
  8. PunchOut adds hundreds a month. Punchout Cloud, for buyers who order through procurement systems, costs US$399 a month for one connection.[13]

Here are the main connectors we found for each system:

From each vendor’s public integration pages and app marketplaces in October 2026. “Native” is built by the platform vendor, “Built in” means the store is part of that system, “Listed” means the vendor lists the integration without saying how it works, and “App or connector” is usually from a third party. “Not listed” means it’s missing from the vendor’s integrations page or app store, though custom work may be possible. We make TierCommerce. Check with each vendor before you decide.

“Native” means the platform’s vendor builds and maintains the integration, which usually means it handles customer pricing, credit and invoices, not just orders. An app or connector can work well, but check what it syncs, who supports it and what it costs. For what to look for in any integration, read our guide to ERP integration for B2B ecommerce.

Pricing: who publishes it

Only some vendors publish their prices. The rest quote, which makes a fair comparison harder.

From each vendor’s own pricing pages (Cloudfy’s from its UK government price list) in October 2026. Currencies are as published. We make TierCommerce.

Quote-only pricing isn’t a bad sign in itself, since enterprise platforms are priced around each project. But it means you should ask every vendor for a three-year cost that includes the platform, apps and connectors, implementation, payment fees and support, in Australian dollars.

The 14 platforms compared

Each platform below has a short overview and the facts we recorded. They’re in no particular order, apart from ours being first so you know where we stand.

TierCommerce

TierCommerce is our B2B ecommerce platform for Australian and New Zealand wholesalers and distributors. We build and maintain native integrations for Xero, MYOB, Pronto Xi, Options, NetSuite, Business Central, Cin7, Unleashed and Katana, so customer pricing, stock, credit and invoices come from your ERP. Customer-specific pricing, quotes, buyer roles and payment terms are standard; PunchOut, order approvals and paying invoices online come with Professional. Prices are on our pricing page.

Best for
Wholesalers and distributors on MYOB, Xero, Pronto Xi, Options, NetSuite, Cin7 or Unleashed who want the ERP integration built in rather than bolted on.
Pricing
Essentials A$500 a month with 200 active trade accounts; Professional A$1,500 with 500. Enterprise is quoted. Ex GST.
ERP connections

Native: MYOB Business / AccountRight, MYOB Acumatica, Xero, Pronto Xi, Options ERP, NetSuite, Business Central, Cin7, Unleashed

In Australia and NZ
Brisbane team; customer data hosted in Sydney
Watch out for
MYOB Exo isn’t supported natively. Pronto Xi, Business Central and SAP Business One are on the Enterprise plan, which is quoted.

Shopify

Shopify is the biggest name here and, since April 2026, offers core B2B features on Basic, Grow and Advanced as well as Plus.[14] Those plans include up to three B2B catalogues, net payment terms, quantity price breaks and quick order lists; catalogues for individual companies, deposits and partial payments need Plus.[12] Plans are priced in Australian dollars, from A$42 a month for Basic to A$3,700 for Plus.[15] Australian ERPs connect through apps billed in US dollars, as our audit shows.

Best for
Retailers already on Shopify adding trade customers, and wholesalers with simple pricing.
Pricing
Basic A$42, Grow A$114 and Advanced A$431 a month paid yearly; Plus from A$3,700 a month. Apps are billed in US dollars.
ERP connections

App or connector: MYOB Business / AccountRight, MYOB Acumatica, MYOB Exo, Xero, Pronto Xi, NetSuite, Business Central, Cin7, Unleashed

Not listed: Options ERP

In Australia and NZ
Australian pricing in AUD and a large Australian agency network
Watch out for
Catalogues assigned to individual companies need Plus. Australian ERPs connect through apps billed in US dollars, and customer-specific MYOB pricing needs a US$345-a-month app tier.

TierCommerce vs Shopify, side by side

BigCommerce B2B Edition

BigCommerce was founded in Sydney. Its B2B Edition adds company accounts, buyer roles with approvals, quotes, net terms and an invoice portal.[16] B2B Edition is sold with the Performance plan, which replaced Enterprise in 2026, by quote; store plans start at US$29 a month.[17] [18] [19] Its marketplace has connectors for MYOB Acumatica and Pronto Xi, but they don’t publish prices.

Best for
Mid-size and larger businesses that want B2B and retail on one platform, with B2B features built in.
Pricing
Store plans US$29 to US$399 a month; B2B Edition comes with the Performance plan (from US$1,499 a month) by quote.
ERP connections

App or connector: MYOB Business / AccountRight, MYOB Acumatica, MYOB Exo, Xero, Pronto Xi, NetSuite, Business Central, Cin7

Not listed: Options ERP, Unleashed

In Australia and NZ

Adobe Commerce

Adobe Commerce, formerly Magento, has B2B features including company accounts, shared catalogues for customer pricing, negotiable quotes, purchase-order approval rules and payment on account.[20] It’s licensed by quote, based on sales, order value and order volume.[21] ERP integrations are built by partners or agencies, so budget for an integration project as well as the licence.

Best for
Large businesses with complex catalogues, several brands and a development team or agency.
Pricing
Quote only, licensed on sales, order value and order volume.
ERP connections

Partner or custom: MYOB Business / AccountRight, MYOB Acumatica, MYOB Exo, Xero, Pronto Xi, Options ERP, NetSuite, Business Central, Cin7, Unleashed

In Australia and NZ
Implemented by Australian agencies
Watch out for
Licensing is quote-only and based on sales volume, and every ERP integration is a partner or custom project.

TierCommerce vs Adobe Commerce, side by side

NetSuite SuiteCommerce

SuiteCommerce is NetSuite’s own web store, so products, customers, prices and orders live in NetSuite with nothing to sync.[22] It’s sold as an add-on to a NetSuite licence, and Oracle doesn’t publish its price. The trade-off is lock-in: it only works with NetSuite, so a change of ERP means a new store.

Best for
Businesses committed to NetSuite for the long term.
Pricing
Not published; sold as an add-on to a NetSuite licence.
ERP connections

Built into: NetSuite

In Australia and NZ
Oracle NetSuite has an Australian office and partners
Watch out for
It works with NetSuite only, so changing ERP means a new store.

TierCommerce vs NetSuite SuiteCommerce, side by side

Sana Commerce

Sana Commerce reads data straight from SAP and Microsoft Dynamics ERPs, including SAP Business One and Business Central, rather than syncing it.[23] It opened a Perth office in 2018.[24] If you’re on MYOB, Pronto Xi, Xero or NetSuite, it isn’t an option.

Best for
Businesses on SAP or Microsoft Dynamics ERPs.

Pricing
Community edition free and open source; Enterprise quoted, mainly on sales.
ERP connections

If you run Unleashed for inventory, its B2B Store is an add-on from A$119 a month on the Core (A$449) or Pro (A$819) plans.[32] It uses Unleashed’s customer pricing and credit limits, and Unleashed handles the connection to Xero.

Pricing is quote-only and based on a share of sales, and ERP integration runs through MuleSoft or partners.

How to choose

  1. Start with your ERP. Use the matrix above. A native integration that handles customer pricing, credit and invoices saves more time and risk than any feature.
  2. List your must-haves. Customer pricing, quotes, PunchOut, credit limits and invoice payment are where B2B platforms differ most. Check which plan includes each one.
  3. Price three years, not one month. Add the platform, apps and connectors, implementation, payment fees and support, and allow for US-dollar billing.
  4. Check where support and data live. Ask about support hours in your time zone and where customer data is hosted.
  5. See it on your own data. Ask for a demo with your real price list and a real purchase order, not the vendor’s sample store.
  6. Plan for growth. More trade accounts, more warehouses, an Australian and a New Zealand entity, or a second brand. Check how pricing and features change when you get there.

Questions to ask on every demo

  • Who built your integration with our ERP, and does it sync customer pricing, credit limits and invoices, or just orders?
  • Show us a customer’s price for a product with a contract price and a quantity break. Does it match our ERP?
  • Which features on our list need a higher plan, an app or custom work?
  • What will we pay each month in year three, including apps, in Australian dollars?
  • How do you handle GST for trade and retail customers in the same store?
  • What happens to orders if our ERP is offline?
  • Where is our customer data hosted, and who supports us in Australian business hours?
  • Can we speak to a customer on the same ERP?

If you’re on MYOB, Xero, Pronto Xi, Options, NetSuite, Cin7 or Unleashed, we’d be glad to answer them on your own products. Book a demo and bring a price list and a recent purchase order.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best B2B ecommerce platform in Australia?

It depends on your ERP and size. Wholesalers on MYOB, Xero, Pronto Xi or Options are best served by a platform with a native integration for that system. Food and beverage suppliers should look at Ordermentum, NetSuite businesses at SuiteCommerce, and retailers already on Shopify at Shopify’s B2B features. Use the finder in this guide for a shortlist.

How much does a B2B ecommerce platform cost in Australia?

Published plans run from A$42 a month for Shopify Basic, which now includes core B2B features, to A$3,700 a month for Shopify Plus. Dedicated B2B platforms with published prices include Ordermentum from A$200 a month and TierCommerce from A$500, and enterprise platforms are quote only. On Shopify and BigCommerce, add US$70 to US$1,175 a month of apps, plus implementation. Compare three-year costs, not monthly fees.

Is Shopify good for B2B in Australia?

It’s good for retailers adding trade customers with simple pricing. Since April 2026 core B2B features are on every paid plan, but catalogues for individual companies need Plus, and Australian ERPs connect through apps billed in US dollars.

Which B2B ecommerce platforms integrate with MYOB?

TierCommerce integrates natively with MYOB Business, AccountRight and Acumatica, Commerce Vision lists MYOB Advanced and Acumatica, and Ordermentum lists MYOB. Shopify and BigCommerce connect through third-party apps; on Shopify, customer-pricing sync is listed only for MYOB Exo and Acumatica.

Which B2B ecommerce platforms integrate with Xero?

TierCommerce and B2B Wave integrate natively with Xero, and Ordermentum lists a Xero integration. The Unleashed and Cin7 stores reach Xero through their inventory systems. Shopify and BigCommerce use apps, most of which sync accounting rather than trade pricing.

Can we sell B2B and retail from the same platform?

Yes, on most general platforms, including TierCommerce, Shopify, BigCommerce, Adobe Commerce and SuiteCommerce. Food and beverage networks and inventory add-ons are B2B only.

How long does a B2B ecommerce platform take to implement?

With a native integration for your ERP, most wholesalers are taking orders in about 30 days. Platforms that need a connector or custom integration usually take a few months, and enterprise projects longer.

Do we need a separate B2B website?

Not necessarily. Many platforms run trade and retail from one store, showing each customer their own prices once they log in. A separate trade store makes sense when trade buyers need very different products, pricing or ordering tools.
