Pages and content
Pages, forms and content, without a second website
Your storefront is more than a catalogue. Landing pages, showrooms, warranty forms and FAQs all live in TierCommerce, next to your products and prices, and your marketing team can run them without a developer.
Everything around the catalogue
-
Pages from sections
Build pages from banners, products, FAQs, forms and more, with a live preview as a guest or as one of your accounts.
-
Forms and enquiries
Contact, product enquiry, warranty and returns forms, emailed to the right inbox and kept in one place.
-
SEO and redirects
Titles, descriptions, sitemaps and redirects for each storefront, so moving to TierCommerce doesn’t cost you your search rankings.
How it fits together
Content sits beside your catalogue, not in a separate system. A page can show a buyer’s recently ordered products or a request-an-account form, because it knows who is looking.
What you add
In Online store
-
Pages and entries Built from sections, or your own content types
-
Media Images, video and files, with alt text
-
Forms Contact, enquiry, warranty and returns
Your online store
- Shows each section to the right people
- Publishes and takes down on the dates you set
- Keeps the last 50 versions of every page
- Redirects old addresses by itself
Where it ends up
On every storefront you choose
-
Storefront pages For guests, buyers or chosen groups
-
Enquiries Emailed to the right inbox, and kept
-
Search engines A sitemap.xml and robots.txt per storefront
How it works
A month in the life of Brightline Trade’s storefront, from a new landing page to a warranty claim.
-
1
Build a page from sections
Start from Blank, About, Contact, FAQ, Landing page or a template you saved, then add sections. Preview on a desktop or a phone, as a guest or as one of your accounts. Edits save as you go, and nothing changes for buyers until you publish.
- Banner, Slideshow, Image with text, Products, Categories, FAQs, Form and more
- Recently ordered and Request an account, built for B2B
- History keeps the last 50 versions
-
2
Show it to the right people, at the right time
Any page or section can be shown to everyone, guests only, signed-in buyers or the customer groups you choose, with From and Until dates. A banner for builders can run until the end of the month and take itself down.
- Everyone, guests only, signed-in buyers or chosen groups
- From and Until dates on any section
- Schedule a page to go live, or your edits to publish
-
3
Add your own kinds of content
Content types hold things that aren’t pages, such as news, showrooms, projects, FAQs or downloads. Give each its own fields, from 19 field types, and show them anywhere with an Entries section.
- Start from News, Showrooms, Projects, FAQs, Downloads and more
- Blueprints, so a showroom and a warehouse share a type but not every field
- Fieldsets set up once and used on several blueprints
-
4
Forms that reach the right inbox
Build contact, product enquiry, warranty and returns forms. Ask a signed-in buyer to pick one of their orders, take photos as uploads, and email warranty claims to one team and returns to another. Everything lands in Enquiries.
- Fields that show only when another has a certain answer
- Spam traps built in, plus Cloudflare Turnstile if you want it
- A form.submitted webhook for Zapier, Make or your own systems
-
5
Keep old links and rankings working
Moving from another site? Import your redirects from a CSV. Not found shows the addresses people still try, so you can send them somewhere useful. When a page, product or category changes address, the redirect is added for you.
- Permanent (301), temporary (302) or gone for good (410)
- Everything under an old address in one rule
- SEO title, description and Google preview for every page
Built for the people who run your site
Online store is its own permission, so your marketing team can run it without access to prices, customers or settings.
- Live preview on desktop or phone
- Autosave, drafts and Publish
- Scheduled publishing and take-down
- The last 50 versions of every page
- Saved sections shared across pages
- Menus up to five levels, with mega-menu images and badges
- Media library with alt text and focal points
- A sitemap.xml and robots.txt per storefront
- A switch to make a storefront members only
- Pages for one storefront, or all of them
Want to change the design itself?
Pages and content are shared by every theme. The look of your header, footer and layouts comes from a Shopify-style Liquid theme your team or agency can edit.
Pages and content questions
Do we need a separate CMS or website for our trade storefront?
No. Pages, content types, media, menus, forms, SEO and redirects are all part of TierCommerce, beside your products and prices.
Can we show content to some customers only?
Yes. Pages and sections can be shown to everyone, guests only, signed-in buyers or the customer groups you choose, with From and Until dates.
Can our marketing team edit pages without seeing prices?
Yes. Online store is its own permission, separate from prices, customers and settings.
Will we lose our search rankings when we move?
Import your old addresses as redirects from a CSV, watch the Not found list for any you missed, and set titles and descriptions for every page. Each storefront has its own sitemap.xml and robots.txt.
Where do form submissions go?
To the Enquiries tab under Customers, and to up to 10 email addresses you choose, including one picked by an answer on the form. Export them as a CSV, or send them on with a webhook.
Can we make the whole storefront members only?
Yes. Switch on Only signed-in buyers, and everyone else is sent to log in. Requesting an account and accepting an invitation still work.
