Product catalogue
Your ERP’s products, with everything your ERP can’t hold
Names, prices and stock come from your ERP. Specifications, filters, images, files, accessories and lead times you add in TierCommerce, and no sync ever overwrites them.
Everything a trade buyer needs on one page
-
Specifications and filters
Attributes such as Finish, Width or Material, shown as Specifications and used to filter listings.
-
Spec sheets and drawings
Spec sheets, CAD drawings and certificates to download, for buyers or for your staff only.
-
Accessories and alternatives
“Goes with” accessories added to the cart together, plus related products and alternatives.
-
Lead times
Made-to-order items say how long they take, such as “Made to order, about 6 to 8 weeks”.
-
Variants from stock codes
One product with a variant for each finish, even when your ERP keeps every code as its own item.
-
RRP beside the trade price
Dealers see the recommended retail price under their own price, so they can quote their clients.
How it fits together
Your ERP keeps owning names, prices and stock. Everything else lives in TierCommerce, kept apart so a sync never overwrites your work.

How it works
One office chair in three finishes, from three stock codes in your ERP to one product page.
-
1
Stock codes become one product with options
Some ERPs, such as Options, MYOB and Xero, keep every stock code as its own item, so a chair in three finishes arrives as three products. TierCommerce groups them into one product with a variant for each, so buyers pick the finish on one page.
- Grouped by a parent code field, a code pattern such as CH100-OAK, or a shared field
- Each variant keeps its own SKU, price, stock and contract prices
- Previewed with you before anything changes
-
2
Add what your ERP doesn’t hold
Attributes, images, files, related products and lead times are added in TierCommerce. Your ERP keeps sending names, prices and stock, and syncs never change what you’ve added.
- Attributes with a type, unit and group, shown as Specifications
- Files up to 50 MB, for buyers or staff only
- Your own product fields, shown to buyers or kept for staff
-
3
Buyers filter, compare and download
Buyers narrow a listing by the attributes you’ve set, with a count beside each choice. On the product page they pick an option, read the Specifications, download the files and add the accessories that go with it.
- Checkboxes, or colour and image swatches
- You choose which filters each category shows
- Options with the same name as an attribute filter with no extra work
Change thousands of products from a spreadsheet
Attributes, product fields, lead times, file links and related products can all be updated from one CSV or XLSX.
-
1
Download what’s there now
Get every product with the same columns already filled in, one row per SKU.
-
2
Edit it in Excel
Change what you need. A blank cell changes nothing, and a dash clears it.
-
3
Check it
Every row is checked first, and its problems are shown before anything changes.
-
4
Apply
The rows without problems are updated. Fix the rest and bring them back.

Need something only your business has?
Your own fields cover most of it. For the rest, our extension SDK and implementation partners add your own rules and modules.
Product catalogue questions
Where do product details come from?
Names, prices, stock and options come from your ERP. Attributes, images, files, related products and lead times are added in TierCommerce, and syncs never change them.
Our ERP keeps each finish as its own stock code. Can buyers see one product?
Yes. TierCommerce can group stock codes into one product with a variant for each, by a parent code field, a pattern in the codes or a shared field. We preview the result with you before it’s applied.
Can we update thousands of products at once?
Yes. Import a CSV or XLSX with attributes, product fields, lead times, file links and related products. Every row is checked first, and only rows without problems are applied.
Can some products be hidden from some customers?
Yes. Products and categories can be shown to or hidden from customer groups or single accounts. A category whose whole range is hidden from an account doesn’t appear for it.
Can dealers see an RRP?
Yes. An RRP from a price list, the list price or an ERP field shows under the trade price, and is hidden wherever it matches the price shown.
